Black & White, Just Like Me!

Yeah, that was just to see if you guys are paying attention. Not to be offendin' anybody or anything. Sorry, sometimes I can't think of a title and when I look at this card, that's the first thing that comes to mind. Ahem, so the card. You know, it started out this simple thing, and by the end, I had about 13, 14 random punched out flowers spread out on my desk. It was a pretty good size disaster and when it was all said & done, Darien (my go-to girl for "whaddya think about this card?) said she doesn't like it. Normally, I stop what I'm doing and ask how I can fix it. This time I said, "oh" and just left it alone. Hey, that's a big step for me. She just said that she doesn't like the pink. Ah. She just doesn't get it. The art of it all. See, it's the contrast...the starkness, if you will. It's all about the...No, mom, I don't like that color pink. Oh. Hey, don't you have homework or a room to clean or something? Darn kids.

Stamps: Simple Little Things, Beautiful Blooms (Papertrey), Simply Said (SU!), Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black (Tsukineko), Berry Sorbet (Papertrey), Paper: Papertrey white, Basic Black (SU!), Accessories: Doodlebug Inc. paper flowers

I love your card, but then again, I love black, white and ANY color. The pink is perfect. Good thing you didn't listen!

Hugs,
Amy

I like it, I particularly like the small splash of pink standing out for it'self against the contrast of black and white. . . . .
